What do we consider to be "paranormal"?
The word "paranormal" can cover everything from ghosts and poltergeists to "X-Files" type activities (UFO's, etc.) Our primary concerns are the paranormal activities (or subjects falling into this category) that are located here in PA. It is because we live in an area rich with local legends and ghost stories that we formed this group.
Although we know that there cannot be a paranormal explanation for every strange occurrence, we do take an interest in places of "high energy" (such as ley lines), scenes of ghostly sightings, areas of strange psychic phenomena, and even places reputed to be frequently used by occultists and otherwise "strange" people. The history of such places and things is what really intrigues us.
There are, however, a few things we will NOT do when it comes to investigating... Please keep these things in mind if you plan on contacting us...
~We will not, under any circumstances, engage in any illegal activity (such as trespassing on private property). If we cannot obtain written permission from the owner, we will not go there.
~We will not investigate locations that are currently under investigation by other Paranormal Investigation groups. While this might seem like fun, it has been our experience with group activities that more people generally do NOT make it merrier. We would rather not step on anyone's toes or get in the way of another group that has been working hard.
~Finally, we will not investigate anything that is not in Pennsylvania. If you need help finding a group in your state or area, check out our links page.
